Is Hairset a filter?
No. Hairset renders the haircut, color or beard onto your actual selfie with generative AI, respecting your face, skin tone and hair texture. You see a photoreal preview of you — not a stock model, not an overlay.
Does it work for men?
Yes. Hairset has a dedicated For him side with fades, crops, buzz cuts, textured tops and flow, plus a Beard Studio for stubble, corporate beards, full beards and line-ups.
What happens to my photo?
Your selfie is used only to render your looks. It is deleted from our servers within 24 hours unless you save a look made from it, and you can delete it yourself at any time from the You tab. We never use facial recognition to identify you and never sell your data.
How many looks do I get for free?
Every new account gets 1 free look — any style, including Pro. Hairset+ unlocks every style and adds 30 looks a week (50 a month on the yearly plan). Prefer no subscription? Buy a pack of 10 looks whenever you need it.
Can I try my own reference photo?
Yes. Bring Your Own Photo lets you upload a picture of a cut or color you love and wear it on your own face — copy the cut, the color, or both.
How does the face shape analysis work?
From one selfie, Hairset reads your face shape, skin undertone and hair texture, then shortlists the cuts and colors that suit you, explains why, and shows the ones to avoid. It is guidance, not a verdict — you can always try anything.
Can I show the result to my stylist?
Every look comes with a stylist card: the cut, the color, the technique and the upkeep, ready to share with your barber or colorist so you get exactly what you saw.
